The modest and totally committed F1 racing prodigy,Robert Kubica,has had to adapt his way of living and his way of driving this year.
The polish driver's team(BMW)told the driver he would have to change his:very effective aggressive driving style because it did not suit the new Bridgestone tyres.Ok, before all you Kubica fans panic,he proved even more to be the looming threat to the likes of Kimi Raikkonen and Fernado Alonso by adapting his driving style and setting second fastest time in the Jan 17-19 Valencia test.Only the double wold champion(Fernado Alonso)could pip him to the post,by just .049 of a second.
In his home country of Poland, like Alonso before him in spain-Kubica has sparked a lot more interest in F1;to the extent where his house in Poland has been besieged by the paparazzi night and day,and there has been an unofficial biography written about the potential star;which Kubica said,"i read two pages and then thew it away"!.Well Robert!,get used to it mate!!,your gonna get a lot more attention than that my friend!....that's all i can say,i'm afraid.When Michael Schumacher became a mega-star he could not live in his home country and moved to Switzerland.Likewise Fernando Alonso cannot appear anyware in his home land Spain,and resides in the UK just up the road from me in Oxford;where he is a couple of hours away from McLaren's base in Woking.
If you are like me,and will be following Robert Kubicas progress this season,keep an eye on this site.I think there is something very special about this driver,and he could even give the top guns a run for there money this year.
