Who wants to be a Millionaire Kathy Evans story:Hoax!.

Read about David Gest getting kicked off the Chris Moyles show!!.....click here.

It has been brought to my attention by a reader of this blog site:that the Kathy Evans who wants to be a Millionaire story is a fake!; and was completely fabricated by a prankster on their web site,BS news.com.

The story (which you can read on this site) swept through the showbiz news and blog sites like wild fire when the unbelievable story broke about eight weeks ago.It has attracted about a thousand hits on this site alone. And has been the subject of many pub and office conversations ever since.I even heard it on Radio 1's,The Scott Mills show;which inspired me to post the superbly written story on my page. However i thought it very odd that i could not find it anyware on You tube;or i had not seen a single clip of it on TV news.I put this down to,after many discussions with the boys on the subject over a few pints:to the show(Who wants to be a Millionaire,USA)withholding the footage for legal reasons;and maybe a few people might have it recorded on video, and are waiting in the wings to put it in the system. All seemed to make sense until i got a comment sent to my email by a reader, who called themselves, pacat.

Pacat's comment simply said:"this is fake. just a hoax.. refer to below link."

So i clicked the link,as instucted. The first link took me to a site that pointed out other Millionaire 'conspiracy' story's that we are all pretty much aware of,eg:the coughing major ect.The point of this was to say that the show is capable of deceiving us the viewer.

The second link was more interesting. It took me to a site called:http://www.hoax-slayer.com/elephant-moon-quiz-question.shtml This web site pointed out(as you will see if you go to it that the Kathy Evans story is fake and was written by an author on BSnews.com .The 'BS' stands for,'Bull shit' by the way.

Ok so a lot of people(including me) fell for the very entertaining and clever prank;but it was superbly written, and was just a bit of harmless fun.It made me laugh, and i enjoyed reading it to a few friends!.But there's just one thing i would like to know?:How come there has been no unequivocal statement from Who wants to be a Millionaire(USA) denying that they recorded the show in question?.

Can anyone let us know please?(via the comments).

Anyway, whether the story's true or not:i would just like to thank the author of,BSnews.com(con) for a very entertaining story.A good blogger is a good story teller after all?.Below is a picture of Ben Spierenburg - author of this brilliant hoax.

These are the links by the way:Link 1

At least we got to the bottom of this one. Hadn't heard about it any where else. Anyway I thought the Jade Goody theory was good anyway.

Cheers once again for the comment Roger.
The story was written so well i think it had us all convinced, but it made me laugh;so i think we can forgive the hoaxers, and commend them for a good prank.
Not long now before it all kicks off in Melbourn Roger!.My moneys on Massa for the win;but i think Kimi will get the better of him later in the season...Can't Wait!...Shaun/editor.

probably the reason Millionair USA didn't comment, is because this lady was on the brittish millionair show, not the NY show.
